Great deli market! The food is fresh, the staff is friendly, and everything is clean and well organized. They have a good variety of options, and the prices are reasonable. Definitely a place I’d recommend!

Food is pretty good depending on what you get and the service and atmosphere is good as well. I come here before work when I work at the office in LIC QPN . Photos are attached!

Wanted a quick breakfast after a 9-mile run around 11am on a Sunday in October, and went to the Hudson Food Market on Queens Plaza North. They had a bunch of chicken and salads on display, so I wanted a box full of some of those stuff to take home, but the staff told me to pick something from the menu above, which made me wonder why have all this food on display at all. I asked for the Mexican omelette, and it looked pretty small, so picked up some shrimp tempura rolls as well. The omelette turned out to be just okay, very bland, and not filling, as expected. The two items cost around 23 bucks, which I thought was expensive given the meagre quantity. It also looked like a small grocery store, and you could buy milk, chips, yogurt, etc.

Here's my comment about this store: Positives: 1) Decent variety of products. 2) Has a bit of everything. 3) Salad bar and sandwiches available. 4) Convenient option to eat on the spot. Now, the drawbacks: 1) Prices are excessively high for everything! 2) If you pay with a card, the price is higher. 3) Checkout staff lacks professionalism. They need training in customer service and at least occasional smiles. 4) Now, about the employees who prepare salads and sandwiches: they displayed some rudeness. Drawing on my experience of steering a conversation, I quickly took action, and the team became more amiable. My verdict: The store manager should provide training for the staff on how to be courteous and work with customers. Reading comments from other visitors about rude employees in this store suggests that nothing is being done in this regard!
